London, 27 April 2023:

Fulcrum Asset Management (Fulcrum) is delighted to announce it has signed a three-year agreement to sponsor Middlesex Women, Middlesex Girls, the Sunrisers and Middlesex Cricket’s new charitable arm, Middlesex in the Community.

The partnership with Middlesex aligns with Fulcrum’s drive to support and nurture talent, from wherever it comes. One aspect of the sponsorship will be to fund over 300 bursaries through the English Cricket Board’s National Programmes for young children, with a focus on the North London area. Other initiatives will include ‘Car Park Cricket’ – following on from Middlesex’s successful 2022 event – where people from all backgrounds and ages are encouraged to have a go at playing cricket in a supportive, fun environment with the professionals on hand.

Joe Davidson, Managing Partner, Fulcrum Asset Management, said:

“We are delighted to sponsor Middlesex Cricket’s drive to deliver equality of opportunity throughout the communities they serve, regardless of background or gender. It’s an important undertaking, and one we are proud to support.”

Leader of Fulcrum’s Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Group, Mark Horne, said:

“As an industry we need to find ways to provide much broader access to asset management careers by fostering initiatives that encourage people from all backgrounds to join, progress and thrive. This sponsorship – which encourages participation from all members of the community – mirrors this aim very well. As a group we wholly support it”.

Imogen Gilliar, Senior Commercial Manager, Middlesex Cricket, said:

“We are thrilled to welcome Fulcrum into the Middlesex family and are very much looking forward to working closely with them over the coming three years. We have some really exciting plans for community delivery and it’s fantastic to have Fulcrum’s support directed towards our Women’s and Girl’s cricket, and our work within the wider community”.
